Day 404 & 405- Falling Leaves

If Nature is my colourist,
she will paint my tree with yellow iron oxide roots.

There will be shades of rust on its trunk and branches.
From orange to red to brown.

She will give the tree's copper foliage a rich vibrant green
and then make the brass birds blue.

Each little metal leaves will be dabbed the colours of autumn,

so that they will fall.....

to where you can no longer tell them apart from the real ones.

Thank you, Ma Nature.

It's been a real pleasure working with you.

Let's do it again soon!

Sans, once again you have demonstrated your ability to construct a mini work of art! It bears the signature of Your creative soul and is made apparent here in your tree sculpture. You seem to know how to find the "insides" of whatever you are working on, and you have made its 'worn out' form, Totally Beautiful!

Every Artist worth his salt has paintings "turned to the wall" in his Studio, and sculptors have piles of scrap in the corners.... partly finished or failed experiments....! So you have "killed " the Roses and instead Turned the Leaves to Fall... ! And while I might "sigh" at the end of the Roses... I can acknowledge that this is Much more harmonious.... Formality with a Touch of Melancholy.... The bluebirds still sing in the Tree.... but they are about to take flight... the entire Flock in one noisy whoosh... Autumn and the Falling leaves will chase them away...! So does Beauty have to die? Or is it by dying that it is transformed... and is Beauty still?
You and Mother Nature work together very well!! :):)
(I must go polish my Crystal Ball.... LOL!)

Extraordinary....I shake my head in disbelief every time you post one of your little artworks, each is more precious than the last. Such imagination, such talent. I'm so glad to be able to see your treasures, isn't the internet wonderful?

Beautiful!!!! To add something to seemed-to-be-finished thing so that it would look like a part of it that was there ever is a masterpiece!
I am still thinking of it: once you come back here we will travel to Wroclaw and I will take you to Panorama Raclawicka (http://www.panoramaraclawicka.pl/en/what_to_see.html) not to see the painting - which is also great - but to watch a movie of how the painting was installed in the building and how people finished surroundings by putting real things around. Things which became a part of this painting although they are not.:) Without this movie one would never guess they are modern additions.;)
Hugs and kisses

Marie A :) Thank you! I was having a lot of fun in my "studio " :):). I was finally able to really experiment and try out some of the things I have always wanted to do but couldn't in real life. My mini life is so much more than my real one where making art is concerned..LOL :)

Sans! said...

Thank you Kikka. Maybe you'll like what's coming next too :)

Kisses to you, Liduina. I like that my mini world is a little fantastical, unreal and out of this world. But hopefully, it will always be a whole lot of fun.

Ewalina, I went to google Panorama Raclawicka of course :):). OMG! It will be so great if I can see you again. And Wroclaw looks so pretty. Really reminds me of the time when we were in Krakow after going to Mariacki Cathedral :). And having zurek in the square :).

The painting is interesting . Reminds me of the one from China when the painting became animation and came to life . It is huge just like the one you mention too :). I am really curious about yours now :). Ok, we must set a date ! :)

Susan, I often wonder if I don't have this community, will I be as motivated and therefore, as creative? My work revolves so much around the stories I share with you all that without you reading my posts, there may not even be any reason to create!

Then there are all these gifts from friends that just make your work all that more special. Because someone who shares your story like it enough to want to be a part of it.

Value? PRICELESS! :):)

Bets, if you only know how many times your words spark an idea in my head :).

I promise, for you, I will not kill the roses. They will just figure in a different way and only my friends here will know why they are there :) because you read what I went through :).

Death will always be an inevitable part of Nature's beauty. That's where we all come in, to help immortalise beauty by making art that will last, if not forever , just that bit longer :).

I really want to share with you what inspired me to build the tree. It was simple, rather unexpected but so harmoniously beautiful. I am sure it is something you will appreciate as well . :)

Elizabeth, whether you like it or not, I am regarding you as one of my gem friends found this year. :) This may sound strange and even a bit crazy to you, but I sort of feel that we come from the same place when we create :).

I just always love your work :), the boldness, the colours, the age, the unexpected, the attention to aesthetic.

And me? I don't have rules when I create :). It almost always comes from within and I never know if something is going to work before I do it. I take so long because I am haphazard :). But it's the only way I want to create :).

Thank you Jen :). Kisses from my blue birds to yours :)
