Day 387, 395 & 396-Quiet Tea

I have missed the silence at my abandoned house;

the quiet even as I worked;

and especially when I was stitching my Indian pillows;

those moments when I had to rest my eyes.

How the world stood still;

the instant my eyes shut, not moving, barely breathing.

I look forward to reliving that silence,

as I sit on my embroidered pillows

slowly sipping my quiet tea.

Oh peace.... how I need it tonight after a whole day spent in bed with a flue.
I didn't whatsapp to you that I was bedridden, it is due to this awfull spring weather!
Your little scene is blissfull :o)

Peace..so beautiful thought!
I'll go to have my quiet evening tea now and I will close my eyes. Silence.
I see myself sitting on the beautiful Indian pillow in your magical scene.
I don't want to move.... Peace.

And I have missed the abandoned house... with its magic... its beauty... and its peace and tranquililty. And I have missed you... maybe because I know that you would give up enjoying your quiet tea for jumping on your feet at once to start making me a cup of coffee if I would knock on the door... ;O)

Hugs

Hello Sans! I have missed all your beautiful reflections and the stories that you tell with the posts that you compose for us about your minis! You have such style and your spaces are alive with activity even when they are quiet and only the sound of the sipping of tea can be heard.

I am glad you like it here, Marta :).

Piikko, you are a precious guest in the house. :):) Keep your eyes shut, lean back and just relax while I boil the water in the tetsubin for an ionised and revitalising green tea. :):)

I will not make a sound so you can hear the water bubbles bursting in little blobs while it boils and crickets calling out for their mates. Welcome to my bliss :)

Sans! said...

Liduina, those pillows were made with Indian ribbons. I embellished the ribbons with tiny mirrors and a contrasting colour thread :). I am afraid I did not make the pillow from scratch. :):)

Ana, I think your work , especially the painted furniture is amazing! I have no doubt of their success! You are right about the step by step. Persevere and we will reap the rewards :)
