Day 225-227-An Oasis At Daybreak

 Silence........
this is still the wee hours...
but maybe you are already awake

W  A   I   T ...

S   t   a   y      r   e   a   l   l   y    s t i l l

       now close your eyes

then

take a deep breath

Can you smell it?

.....  it's the sweet bouquet of the cold just before sunrise

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....

listen

Can you hear it?

.....its the light breeze of first blush saying

                                                          let's sound the chimes

                           the world must wake.

and already we see the first sign of life

followed shortly by another

the early morning dew

 and dawn is finally breaking

Though when the sun is shining bright

the fishes may run and hide

but we know they are still there

SEE the bubbles and their air

And in the harsh light of day,

we see yesterday's flowers on display

in their rusty cans,

with their suntanned leaves

But prettily they still sway

To music the broken chimes play

So welcome to the oasis at daybreak

This is my garden in the Village.

This is my sanctuary of peace.

Postscript : Some of you may find this style of presentation faintly reminiscent of another. I shall shamelessly admit that this is not my usual way but that of a Wonder Twin. I hope she likes my Laser Light Show and Tell. I hope she'll enjoy her ride.  And I really hope you do too.

Oh my! - You may want to delete this comment after you read it - I just happened to notice that in your left sidebar, under Day 86 where you posted the "Honest Scrap" award, you left out the "S" in scrap... so it says the honest something-else award! Your English is excellent, but you may not know all the English slang, and it's not a really nice word, lol. Not a REALLY bad word, but not a really nice one, either. Just letting you know.

Fijate si me he metido dentro de tu guion jejeje

I even lack the words in German to say how wonderful this post is - so how could I manage to say that in English... This is so poetic, peaceful and lovely - and not to forget about the miniature scene itself - so outstanding and perfectly done.

Greetings
Birgit

P.S.: Did you notice I have a giveaway on the run on my blog?

oh! Sans, all this is so ... incredible ...
You have given me a moment's peace! tonight I'm sad and melancholic ... and angry because one of my dreams has been shattered against the wall of reality, of duty, life ...
I can stay here a little, play with water, chasing butterflies, and smell of your delicate flowers, even to pretend to be a little girl?
I love this place, I promise you that do not break anything, but let me stay here tonight!

Thank you Grace :):).

And thanks for the heads up about the word which is also a slang for hmmmm "poo"?! ;) But I had used it in the context of "trashy" or "crappy" . I think it was an award where you had to list some honest facts about yourself that few know. And I listed some fairly trashy stuff ;p.

But I agree with you, :) it is not pleasant so I have made the changes.. teehee.

Oh, Sans!
SO Beautiful! So perfectly gently dawn! And your sound track is just DIVINE! But it is the wonder of your tiny garden with the most BEAUTIFUL butterflies and flowers that is so enchanting! You have made my COLD, FROZEN (5 degrees farenheit) NORTHERN night into an Oasis of Magic and peaceful dreams! Thank you! And even your wind chimes sound so gentle.... mine on my porch outside are banging and clanging in the wind.... NOT gently! You have made this tiny garden so REAL! And your photos are simply transporting me!
I have to confess to you that for months now I have been planning a small garden with a brook to run beside my Folly dollhouse.... :)
I just LOVE your little butterflies!

Sans! said...

Kim, what's your favourite time ( as in the exact moment measured by a clock)?

Mine is 7 o'clock. Over here, 7am is just when dawn breaks and the 1st light appears. And 7 in the evening is just when dusk falls and the sky is a dark purple. These are my magic hours :).

I have read and saw on your blog, your stunning garden with the chickens , sometime on a swing :). It must be heavenly at daybreak, even in winter.

Sans! said...

Thank you, thank you, thank you :) Drora :).

Your words of praises may be short ;p but they are most enduring :). I am very encouraged and moved.

Thank you, thank you, thank you :)

Sans! said...

I am giving you big big hugs from here, Rosanna!

We will hang out in a real garden soon , with wind chimes and lotuses and we will ignore all the shhhhhhhhhhhhhhs and joke and laugh and talk talk talk :).

Sans, admit it: you are not of this earth but a fairy world ...
Hide a secret that reveals a little in these beautiful scenes :-)
I love every single leaf and grain of earth in your garden :-)

Sans, what a lovely story is like a dream!!!! The pictures are so lovely and as I wake up very early, would love to be in your garden and see the sunrise!!!
Warm regards,

Ewa, I must make a doll and call it "the old maid" :) and she can visit anytime or be the resident elf or the gardener :).

This garden has taken up so much space that no doll can walk through or even sit or stand near the pond :) . Maybe the old maid will have to be a little fairy :).

The weather is turning so hot here but it rained heavily this afternoon. It is hot again now (10pm). Like you, I much prefer a cooler weather and rainy afternoons :).

Sans! said...

Thank you, dear Iris (Lataina) :).

I too hope you will start a blog soon and show us your work :).

besosssss

The weirdest thing is happening. Right before I read your post this morning I heard the chimes outside our house ring for the very FIRST time! We have had them for months now and I have never heard them make any noise at all. I had to look make sure someone wasn't out there playing with them! Maybe it was you??? They are still playing now as I read through your post!! .... Oh no - I now feel silly as I just realized it was your music! haha - I guess I have still never heard our chimes make noise! Wonderful post with beautiful pictures!! and GREAT sound effects!! lol - ara

Hugs and kisses to you, Ani. I love the Tiger Award :) but what's the name of the award?

Anyway, one of my favourite animals is the white tiger :). You know those games when they ask you what animal do you want to be? I always says white tiger as my 1st choice :).

So thank you for thinking of me :)

Sans! said...

Caterina, I have turned you into a little fairy princess and you can stay here for however long you wish. And over here, all your dreams can come true.

Sometimes, we think we hit a dead end but really it could be a new beginning. Who knows?

A friend had just given me the name of a tarot card reader. Hmmm...but is it better than we know everything before it happens?

Now how is your day today? It's Valentine's Day and I will be meeting my girlfriends for a traditional valentine's day drinks session. I love it that I am spending this day with my girlfriends who have seen me through thick and thin :).How about you, dearie?

Sans dear! thanks very much for your hospitality in the garden of the fairies! is a real pleasure to be here, to lick their wounds, and to remain silent to hear the voice of nature! ...

My dear Betsy, :):), Happy Valentine's Day! I hope yours is fabulous and filled with love and life!

Do you know I always save your comments for a really special time and place :) so I can slowly savour the sweetness of your words :)? They just invariably cheer me up :). I am really happy , Betsy, really really happy that you are here to experience my little oasis.

I don't think I have felt as excited with my other creations. I mean, I love making everything but this pond really makes me feel like I have done something very close to my heart. Of course, there are little things I am not completely satisfied with but overall, I think this garden score 80/100 on the HowPleasedIAmWithMyWork scale :).

You know the morning dew? It is me experimenting with glue again. I am so pleased with how it has turned out :). You can't really see these details with the naked eye but the photos really captured the magic of the moment :).

Also when you are making butterflies for your garden, use the hair on your paint brush for their antennas. Preferably after you have just used the brush to paint something black. The hair really enhance the realism of the pretty creatures :).

I hope you will build your garden. I am POSITIVE you will do a really wonderful job!

By the way, the chimes in my house sound really similar to this one on my blog :).

Love and kisses to you:)!

Sans! said...

Flora, like you, I am just a child of the universe :):):).

Thank you for sharing my love of this oasis :). You have written poetry for my humble garden and I am moved beyond words :).

I shall now wave my magic wand and sound my chime to herald the coming of all the happiness and beauty into your life :).

Hello Meli :):). You are a early riser and a morning person? :) Then you are a lark :) . They say that it is in the genes whether you are a lark or an owl (night person). Some believe it may also e related to the time you were born. I was born at night around 11 plus pm, almost 12 midnight :).

Over the years, because I don't need much sleep, I have come to love the wee hours of the morning , waiting for the break of dawn. Thats why I am familiar with the smell of the cold crisp air just before sunrise :).

I think you will like it here, Meli :). I like to think I have built the garden not only for my dolls, but also for myself and definitely for my friends :)

Sans! said...

Thank you so much for visiting April!

Sans! said...

Oooooooooooooooooooh Eva :):). I can't believe it! A real fairy ! :):) But she will have o be reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeal tiny to fit into this garden :) but no worries, if she doesn't like this wee oasis, I will build a brand new one for her :). Now that too will take a little bit of time :).

In the meantime, I am sure she can sleep on my tree, play with the forgotten bird amidst the pine or dip her legs in the pond ;p. OR she can help Ro with all the housework and cooking in the house LOL!

Piiko, how was your Valentine's Day? Although it is over, I feel like I am still celebrating it :). A friend just called me from Shanghai to check how I was and we spoke for 15 minutes. He was telling silly kinderarten jokes that don't make sense just to make me laugh :).

I will be so happy if my garden is used more :). Last night a girlfriend came to my home and saw the house I am building . She made me happy too with her ooohs and ahhhhs when she saw my garden :)

Ana , you take som ereally fabulous pictures yourself :).

I take many and choose the few that I like. :) Some of the pictures I adjust the lights a bit. I don't like taking pictures indoor but the house is now too heavy for me to carry outdoor by myself.

You like the last picture? My favourite in this post is the one with the butterfly and the morning dew. I took soooooooooooooo many pictures just to get this one :). The dew is glue and I think the brush for the antennaes of the butterfly really turned out well :).

I like tis picture because it is very diffcult to see all the details , like the dew and the antennaes with the naked eye. :)

But I am thrilled that you like the window :). I was just wondering if the valance work well :) and from your wonderful and generous compliment, I guess they didn't turn out so bad :).
