My Trip Away

Siem Reap,Cambodia -En route to Kampung Pluk Fishing Village

It was a trip I had planned since August last year. I did not know then that this was to be a trip of farewells.

Luang Prabang, Laos- Village Near Kuang Si Waterfall

For some of you, my absence might have appeared like some sort of a goodbye here as well. Really, I was just coping with what I thought were the endings and thus new beginnings.

Luang Prabang, Laos- A Monk School

The Dalai Lama once said "No beginning, no ending".

Perhaps there was no need for goodbyes,  just a new way of saying hello. Or maybe some endings are necessary so that we may lay a firmer foundation for a fresh start.

Pak Ou Cave- Along the Mekong River

Whatever it is, I am blessed with many friends who wondered when I wandered.

Dear friends, you make coming home sweet.

Finally! Hahaha!
I know I owe you a message but then again in my life there is nothing new.... ;)
I am keeping my fingers crossed for all endings and starts to turn out to be the best for you.:)
Beautiful photos by the way.
When I looked at the dates you were taking them Dec.24-26 funny to think it was Christmas over here. ;)
Hugs and kisses

ps. Will try to write this letter to you this weekend.

Dear Sans, I am So glad you have come back!!!
I have missed you! (And come here looking for you... I hope you don't mind!)
Yes, the Journey of Life is a Mysterious Voyage... and so precious! The only thing I have learned from the ups and downs is that it All matters... the Downs and the ups! Treasure them all and let the feelings have their day... because that is what Life is...
I do hope your Goodbyes have been followed by many many Hellos!

Hello my dear Sans! I too have come calling even when I have found you not to be at home! It is so good to see that your journey has come full circle and here you are home once again.
In all of our personal struggles, friends help us get through them and even when no words can be exchanged, know that we are here and all silently supportive.

The Roses begin to bloom in the rain... drooping, faces heavy with raindrops.... looking down, their smiles only for the ground below... will the sun ever shine again... or is darkness and gloom here for ever....
But in the hush of night, even among the ceaseless drip drip drip, the fireflies begin to blink their little lights.... flitting among the drooping blossoms... bringing beauty and eternity to dark and dismal nights.... reminding me that there is beauty even in rain and dark and hope is always there within the heart.... And Roses will always bloom again....
